Beveled bottom edge assures extra-snug fit between dash and windshield. Shade closes by hand in the center of the windshield behind the mirror and is secured with hook/loop fasteners. Release the fasteners and the shade retracts and folds up automatically to less than 1" on each side of windshield. Spring-loaded retractor mechanism consists of super-strong monofilament cord, alloy steel springs and self-lubricating spool to assure smooth, trouble-free operation. Shade can be removed from tabs for windshield cleanups. Unaffected by windshield-mount mirrors. Shipped separately from factory.
